NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT: Crime Commission - November 29th Meeting Begins at 2:30 p.m.

The Wednesday, November 29th Crime Commission meeting will begin at 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Shared Committee Room in the Pocahontas Building, which is located on the Ground Floor. Note that this new meeting time is later than originally planned. This meeting is open to the public. 

The study topic "Admissibility of Prior Inconsistent Statements" will now be heard at the December 4th Crime Commission meeting.

Items planned for discussion include:

  • DNA Databank: Expansion of Misdemeanor Crimes; and,
  • Pretrial Services.

Public comment will be taken at this meeting for each of these studies at the conclusion of staff's presentation​. Comments are typically limited to 3 minutes per person. If you would like to speak, there will be a sign up table in the lobby area outside of the meeting room.
