     Crime Commission - Decriminalization of Marijuana Meeting Rescheduled for October 30th

     The Virginia State Crime Commission is currently studying the topic of decriminalization of simple possession of
     marijuana. The originally scheduled meeting to present study findings on October 5th will now be held on
     Monday, October 30, 2017, at 1:00 p.m.  
     This meeting is open to the public and will be held in the House Committee Room, Ground Floor, Room W011,
     Pocahontas Building, 900 East Main Street, in Richmond.
     Crime Commission staff is currently accepting written comments on this topic. Please send written comments and
     any other information/materials relevant to this study via email to or via postal mail to
     our office (address is below) by 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2017.
